ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

no my dear...you have not given me one single reason......how can we have a debate?

let me make my request again...you made the claim that they dont want peace... and i am not arguing with you....i am simply requesting for some solid reasons why they dont want peace and how would it help them... all you said was this

"Everyone can say they want peace but if you don't want to sit down and talk, and instead want the others to agree with everything that you want and then change your mind again and keeping making extra demands then you are not seeking peace but want to impose your will. In the meanwhile you can keeping portraying yourself as a victim and keep getting all the lastest American goodies for free"

so my friend, you did not give me few categorically defined reasons...all you came up with constituted just few typical emotional lines that israel will never listen..it is arrogant etc..it wants to rule everyone...it wants USA money etc

You made a claim and I am trying to understand the logical rationale behind that claim.....unless we clearly understand why exactly israeli citizens dont want peace in gaza and how a continuous turmoil in gaza would suit them, how can we reach to a solution.. right?...so please help me with that...i really want to learn...so help me understand

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

**If you wanted peace with someone would you hold them hostage, would to assassinate them, would you try to economically destroy them, would you forcefully occupy their land and build houses on it?

Everyone can say they want peace but if you don't want to sit down and talk, and instead want the others to agree with everything that you want and then change your mind again and keeping making extra demands then you are not seeking peace but want to impose your will. In the meanwhile you can keeping portraying yourself as a victim and keep getting all the lastest American goodies for free.

**I have given you 2 important reasons. Since you did not understand, let me spell it out for you in black and white.

Isreal thinks that it can get a more favourable settlement by not reaching an agreement now. This is the reason that they backtracked from the Oslo accord (in which Palestinians agreed to all demands of Israel...even if unreasonable). Instead of giving them the right to return to Israel (from where they were evicted) it will give them a small piece of (20%) West Bank which is land that Israel occupies that actually belongs to Jordan. But even this does not satisfy them now. The greed of the Israelis is insatiable. The arrogance of the Israelis knows no limit. The Israelis are still trying to expand the boundaries of their country.

So long as there is no settlement Israel can still get latest US gadgets and free aid. If a settlement was reached with all its neighbours then it would not need US support because it will have achieved peace.

Now how about you giving me 5 reasons why the Palestinians don't want peace?

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

Gilad Sharon, son of former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, wrote an op-ed on Sunday calling for even more aggressive Israeli strikes in Gaza.
“We need to flatten entire neighborhoods in Gaza. Flatten all of Gaza,” states Sharon in The Jerusalem Post.
The violence between Israel and Hamas this week has reportedly claimed the livesof 81 Palestinians, including 37 civilians, as well as 3 Israeli civilians. Current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that “the Israeli military is prepared to significantly expand the operation.”
Sharon writes in his op-ed, entitled “A decisive conclusion is necessary,” that “the residents of Gaza are not innocent, they elected Hamas. The Gazans aren’t hostages; they chose this freely, and must live with the consequences.” After saying that Israel needs to “flatten all of Gaza,” he goes on to say, “The Americans didn’t stop with Hiroshima – the Japanese weren’t surrendering fast enough, so they hit Nagasaki, too.”
He concludes his defense of Israel’s actions with a hawkish message:
There is no middle path here – either the Gazans and their infrastructure are made to pay the price, or we reoccupy the entire Gaza Strip. Otherwise there will be no decisive victory. And we’re running out of time – we must achieve victory quickly. The Netanyahu government is on a short international leash. Soon the pressure will start – and a million civilians can’t live under fire for long. This needs to end quickly – with a bang, not a whimper.A bio on the website for HarperCollins Publishers describes Sharon as follows:
Gilad Sharon is the youngest of former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon’s sons. Gilad holds a master’s degree in economics and writes a column for the prominent Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth. A major in the Israel Defense Force reserves, he currently manages his family’s farm in Israel.Sharon isn’t alone in his militant tone. Israel’s Deputy Prime Minister Eli Yishai is reported by The Yeshiva World News to have said, “We must blow Gaza back to the Middle Ages, destroying all the infrastructure including roads and water.” Haaretz also reports that Yishai stated, “The goal of the operation is to send Gaza back to the Middle Ages.”
President Barack Obama said on Sunday that the United States is “fully supportive of Israel’s right to defend itself.”
The violent conflict continued on Sunday as Palestinian militants fired more than 100 rockets into Israel, and one of Israel’s missile strikes killed at least 11 civilians.

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

nop you still did not answer my question...i am asking how would it help israel

economically
internationally
politically
socially

look at stupidity of your rationale...you are saying that Israel is doing this so that it can continue to get US aid, which does not make any sense...israel GDP is already more than US....they dont need american goodies...everyone knows that. and for your information, it is egypt that is dying to get US aid every year....do you know that?

Other than that you have not come up with any reason...except typical emotional rant. you said "Israel thinks that it can get a more favorable settlement by not reaching an agreement now"...lol..how? what favorable settlement? by your own account, Israel can attack and grab whole gaza and west bank using power whenever it wants... so why would it need 20 years of destruction, continuous conflict, bloodshed, its citizens living in continuous depression...investors running away from israel....for what...to get some more settlements?

so...you have no answer except

**"The greed of the Israelis is insatiable. The arrogance of the Israelis knows no limit. The Israelis are still trying to expand the boundaries of their country" *and *"so that Israel can still get latest US gadgets and free aid**"

***how can we have a debate when all you have come up with is nothing but an emotional rant....everything that you are saying is what we are hearing from hamas for years....Israelis are telling a different story, which has it own crappy portion..both have their own agenda...

i asked you to use common sense, unbiased thinking, some introspection and see if you can come up with come logical points for your claim..but you became hamas spokesman....

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

dont run away from the topic....you made a claim that israelis dont want peace and that they want to continue conflict in gaza....so you need to stay on topic..give us some some solid reasons that clearly show that it will help israel :
economically (except saying that it will help israel get US aid lol),
internationally,
politically
socially...

I did not make any particular claim about Palestinians..did I?...so stay on topic...

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

I have answered your question, now if you do not comprehend or want me to spoon feed you then I am not going to do that. lol Isreali GDP is more than that of the US? This comment tells me everything I need to know. I am wasting my time with a kindergarten kid.

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

lol I am not running away from anything. You are the one running away from the topic. Listen Einstein.....if you say that Israel wants peace then it means that Palestinians don't want peace so it shouldn't be too hard for you to give me some reasons for that lol.

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

No you did not answer any of my question...and that is why you are pissed off....i wanted to show you that you cannot win debate by repeating emotional rant....that is all you came up with
*"The greed of the Israelis is insatiable"

"The arrogance of the Israelis knows no limit"

"The Israelis are still trying to expand the boundaries of their country" *and

the most funniest one
"so that Israel can still get latest US gadgets and free aid"****

Now it would have helped your cause had you answered my question by bringing Israeli internal politics into debate...how Israeli war-mongers use gaza situation to gain public support by spreading fear and win elections.....

**but you are just a hamas spokesman....no answer, no rationale..just emotional rant...

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

Me pissed off? lol I am actually laughing my head off as I write this. I gave you you 2 solid reasons which you are still having difficulty in understanding. You are not able to make any rational points and are running away from the issues. I am still here and waiting for your response (a rational response).

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

whatever makes you happy my man...of course i was referring to GDP per capita and not to GDP...israel is around $32K, definitely comparable to USA (it is not $1500 for instance)...but at this point, you are just upset and have started to using insulting tone....so no point of continuing this discussion

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

in the whole debate there was only solid reason that somewhat explains israel stupidity to continue with gaza bloodshed................and well..... guess what I am the one who mentioned that reason....lol

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

Israel is $31K, US is $48K and Qatar is $102k. So you are wrong even if you base GDP per capita. There are 40 countries with a higher GDP.

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

Tell me that reason again?

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

i already mentioned that israeli GDP per capita is comparable to US... it is not like israeli GDP per capita is $2500 and it needs US help...and that is exactly my point
economists have been making a case for a long time that israel GDP per capita would be higher than 45K if there is peace....so more reason for israel to have peace in the region

by the way egypt gdp per capita is 2700...

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

well i did mention above but here you go**

"Now it would have helped your cause had you answered my question by bringing Israeli internal politics into debate...how Israeli war-mongers use gaza situation to gain public support by spreading fear and win elections....."

but Israeli citizens want peace because israel does not gain much if anything economically, militarily, internationally and socially by continuing on blood path..

and no, that does not mean to suggest that Palestinians people want war....they dont...they want peace but Hamas may have it own agenda..at least some factions of Hamas....

a**nd that is exactly where I wanted to take this discussion...how can egypt and turkey play role to bring hamas to to the center away from fundamentalism and destory israeli warmongers propaganda

one way condemnation of one particular side does not get to the solution....that is all my friend!

peace

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

US is about 55% higher, so if you say that is comparable then I think you are mistaken.

In absolute terms GDP of Israel and Egypt is almost the same however per capita it is less because Egypt has a larger population.

Egypts GDP is $6500 per capita. Egypt is expected to grow faster than Israel.

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

So you are saying that Israel is run by mad men? Interesting view by I don't agree with it.
What are you saying??? Your posts are full of gibberish. Take a deep breath and calm down! You keep ranting and going off tangent. It's true when they say too much hatred consumes a person's sanity. You clearly a perfect example.
Haha so things that are beyond your comprehension are simply gibberish. Jab uRna aata nahi to panga kiyu liya? Lol.
When did I say I was the only one who cared?? I was calling you out on your positive outlook of the Palestinians when that is definitely not the case. And when did I say I'm doing a lot to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians??
So you categorically accused everyone else including us, of sitting there and doing nothing for the palestinians; yet you are not doing much yourself are you? you have some gall!
I was referring to the lack of involvement by the Arab leaders and leaders of predominantly Muslim nations who fail to engage in a practical peace process. I'm sorry I'm not using up my time to build rockets that have a terrible precision rate.
Well perhaps you should. Would be a lot more productive than twiddling your thumbs, whilst waiting for the arabs to move! And News flash; majority of the rich arabs are not going to help, because they are on Israels side on this. They practically helped enforce the siege!!
The only thing I can do is give charity and I'm definitely not going to declare my monetary contributions towards the Palestinian cause on an online forum. I have absolutely nothing to prove to you.
Considering you are going around accusing us of doing nothing but ranting online; you have a lot to prove dear! And you failed miserably, but that is solely your own doing!
I know you're doing a lot though. Huffing and puffing while Israel engages in air strikes is definitely helping the Palestinians. Yup the smoke from your ears is clouding the Israeli airplanes and they are missing their targets. Good job!
The only one huffing nonsense here is you :)

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

^ I know life must be hard in whatever country you're living, no wonder the resentment. Thanks for giving me a good laugh after reading your posts. Huff Huff off you go. Adios.

Re: ISRAEL: A Terrorist Success Story

You are stooping a bit low there.:chai:
