we have had 12 imams and the line continues.. the hadith could also have been about our 12 imams.. the hadith says there are to be 12 commanders.. it doesn’t say there aren’t gonna be anymore after the 12..
also, Huzoor (S.A.W) said there were gonna be 12 commanders.. 12ers had 11 imams but no other muslim sect except for 12ers verify even the birth of your 12th imam.. so u had 11 imams not 12 (according to everyone except 12ers obviously).. which proves that Huzoor (S.A.W) was telling us that if imamat doesn’t countinue till the 12th then it’s not the right line of imams..

that ayatollah’s are hujjat of your imam.. the ayatollahs being hujjat of imam proves my doubts about the authenticity of the 12th imam being there or not.. coz the teachings of ayatollahs are flawed otherwise muslims (other than 12rs) wouldn’t have been killed in iran..
