first of all, i'm happy for u that u your forefathers accepted a faith that gave happiness to their souls.. secondly, it's natural for any convert to criticize the faith they were previously in.. thirdly, about salam, atleast i or ppl in my family and all ismailis i know (thousands of them) say salam and ya ali madad all the time.. if khoja ismailis don't say salam then there's somethin wrong wid your khoja community my friend ..;) so u said my imam(A.S) is munafiq (nauzobillah).. if that's what u believe then u don't follow the basic teaching of islam that tells us not to judge the fellow muslims..i don't know what "BABUL ILM"u r talkin about but i believe in Ali (A.S) and his true descendants that still lead the faithful to this day..
i mostly know hunzai ismaili n few khoja .im talking abt all ismaili whether they belong to hunzai, khoja, katyawaar or wht ever.they dont obey the basics teaching of islam .n that is the duty of imam to conveince thm n to bring thm on rite path but for this imam must be mutaqi n obey all the rules law of islam n i hardly see the qualities of mutaqi in ur imam.munafiq means teaching something n doing something else.u must be know that a woman in islam must not allowed to reveal her skin thn wht abt above pic .if she's a wife of ur imam thn she must portrayed her self like imam's wife must do hijab or atleast cover all the parts which is not allowed to show in islam .thats why i called munafiq.coz teaching of islam doesnt match the teaching of ur imam is given .even we can call any body a noor n hujaatullah but beside having noor that person must have qualities of mutaqi n parhaizgar.i suggest u to open ur eyes n dont act like pigeon.islam teaches us to kill ur nafasani kuwaishat.ur desire which is harmfull for us n the society we r living in .but ismaili teachings is adverse thn this as far as i can see..why dont u call ur imam n ask him to debate wid sunni n shia scholar n let see who is on da rite path ???? or why dont u allow all muslims to come in ur jammat khana n see ur practices through thr own eyes .why thr is no concept of tabligue is thr in ur jammat????
whr it is stated that we must not judge a fellow muslim or ppl around us.imam hussain judged yazeed thats why he didnt gave him baayat .u can find 100's of hadees n quotation from Prophet(SAW) n Ali (AS) who always ask us to judge person b4 trusting him/her or b4 dealing wid thm .even u cannot become a paish imam n cannot give azaan until n unless ppl give u an approval certificate according to quran n sunnah.
