This topic is about the islamic method os slaughtering. Lets stick to the topic.
Should someone want to discuss the applicability of hadith and sunnah in our lives, thats a separate discussion. This particular group of ppl is called Rafida (those who only believe in Quran, disregard Hadith/Sunnah) there were several posts discussing the same, in this forum a few days back. Better go and read that and continue the arguments there.
As is always the unfortunate outcome, those posts dealing with hadith rejectors, became meaningless shia-sunni debates. Instead the material available there should be used for discussing with ppl like amy.
In the end, as jannu suggested, very rightly, there is no point in discussing this matter of slaughtering further with amy, bcz the source of information itself is in dispute.
Pristine and jannu...ur both right. Discussion with someone who's totally out of it is not useful...like i said, im sticking to the topic and not answering any of her posts.

Quran the word of God is not complete? Did I hear you right? Let me just repeat that, are you saying that Quran is incomplete so some sodomizing, illiterate, incomplete human being had to write hadith to complete Quran? Let me go a little easy on your feeble mind. I think you are saying that language of quran was difficult and so varius inferences was drawn by varius humnan beings. Do you really think that I should accept that. I have said that several times that these people cannot be qualified in any manner to interpret quran in their way for others to accept. Have some ice cream and share it with other nitwits like hk etc.
I kind of understand what is happening now. Amy, you said that the hadith or the Sunnah are not valid. I didn’t know you had already held these beliefs. That means I can’t refer to hadiths to answer your earlier question on the slaughtering of animals.
This is not related to the topic of slaughter, but is related to what the Qur’an says about itself as being complete. There are verses in the Qur’an which support this fact, I thought ppl might be interested to see a scholar’s response to these verses.
The article is from the source given through the link below. For your convenience the article has been posted below the link.
First I would like to mention how informative and useful I find your articles and answers.
My question is regarding the position of ahadeeth in Islam. Someone earlier wrote to you:
“There are numerous verses in the Holy Quran which state that the Holy Quran is a complete message to us, that we need nothing else for Submission.”
The person gave no references, but I would like to give the following:
Say: "Shall I seek for judge other than God? - When He it is Who hath sent unto you the Book, fully detailed…
[6: 114]
There is, in their stories, instruction for men endued with understanding. It is not a tale invented, but a confirmation of what went before it,- A DETAILED EXPOSITION OF ALL THINGS, and a guide and a mercy to any such as believe.
[12: 111]
The Qur’an also says it is a detalied book, a complete book and a book explaining all things. (16:89; 18:54)
So in view of these verses from the Qur’an, do we take ANYTHING not mentioned in the Qur’an to be part of Shari’ah?
Your explanation of this would be gratefully received.
Jazakallah.

All of the referred verses, if seen in the correct perspective of the environment in which they were revealed, imply that the Qur’an entails all the required details regarding things and concepts related to God’s religion, which required to be corrected, in the particular environment in which the Qur’an was revealed. If you closely observe the teachings of the Qur’an, whether relating to the Shariah or to the or to the belief structure of Islam, you shall see that the points stressed in the Qur’an are precisely those, which required correction or initiation. In other words, the Qur’an entails all the details regarding those aspects of God’s religion, which had either been altered by the Arabs overtime and, therefore, required correction or had become extinct overtime and, therefore, required reinstatement or initiation. Besides these aspects, which required correction or initiation, there were a few aspects of God’s guidance, which had maintained their original shape and had remained unaltered overtime. The Qur’an has not discussed or even mentioned these aspects of God’s guidance, as there was no need to do so. For instance, we know that circumcision of a male child is a part of God’s Shariah. However, due to its undisputed significance as a part of the Shariah, even among the Arabs of the times of the Prophet (pbuh), the Qur’an has not considered it necessary to even mention it. The silence of the Qur’an in such instances grants such practices the status of the Shariah. These parts of the Shariah are not mentioned in the Qur’an, as there was no need for doing so. These parts of the Shariah have been transmitted to the subsequent generation of the Muslims, through the practical perpetuation. This is, precisely, what we term as the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh)[2].
As should be clear from the above explanation, the referred verses of the Qur’an do not hinder us from circumcising our male children or from offering specific numbers of Rak’ahs in our five prayers or from celebrating Eid at the end of the month of Ramadhan. None of these things are mentioned in the Qur’an, yet they are and shall always remain a part of the Shariah for they were taught and promoted by the Prophet (pbuh), as such. They have been transmitted to us, as a part of the Islamic Shariah, through the same undisputed source, which has transmitted the Qur’an overtime. Their transmission is not dependent on the transmission of Hadith, just as the transmission of the Qur’an is independent of the transmission of Hadith.
Well, ur use of colourful language says it all…so stop pretending to be a Muslim..i dont know where u get ur wierd ideas from.
U have no concept of Islam or the Quran…your uncivilised behaviour says it all. This is a Pakistani/Muslim site…if you love talking about sex then go visit a porn site
ADMINs and MODs…u really have to do something about the PERVERTS on this forum…they have no idea how to conduct themselves and treat others with respect
There is no call for this kind of behaviour. Offensive language and insultive remarks, along with disrespect towards any religion, religious figure, or fellow member are in no way appreciated and they certainly will not be tolerated.
