I opened a thread ealier on where I tried to figure out the reasons why a Muslim man cannot master the art of hitting on girls.
So many posters said that Islam allows boys and girls , men and women to check each other out for the purposes of getting married.
Now the question is:
Is there concept of dating in Islam ?
If yes then what are the ettiquettes or boundries of Islamic dating ?

It's actually very similar to old english courting rituals. That a family go to the house of the girl. The boy gets to ask questions to the girl in the presence of his and her parents or representatives and she gets to ask hers too, but if she is shy she can get someone else to ask them.
No complete private time should be allowed.
They may write each other too, no lowly talk and bobs your uncle.

okay i know boys and girls from all kind of families see each other in pakistan openly and call it dating ............... i had friends who did that whether or no they got married to each other later, and of coarse many restrictions r applied is that what u wanna know ?

usually we do really well with women.
Reason:: because we have respect of women built into us.
Non Muslim women admire that a lot.

even if i move to US…i won’t be a US citizen nor i’ll have the right to vote.
canadian troops are in afghanistan only…other countries they are as peace-keepers. when was the last time you saw american troops serving as peace-keepers? the only thing they are capable of doing is breaking human bones into pieces…raping 15 years old girls n then burning them alive…not to mention killing their whole bodies to show their strength and moral values.
