Islamic books for childrens

:waves:

I can’t figure out where the search for this group is, so this might already have been up :bummer:

I was wondering if anyone of you can suggest islamic books (writer or series) for children from 6 years and up. It’s better if they’re in english than urdu. I’m also looking for apps if such exist.

On the five pillars, generel stuff and prophets stories would be nice.

Re: Islamic books for childrens

Re: Islamic books for childrens

NAK is for me. He doesn’t understand the humour yet, I did show him the Surah in drawing. He liked that

Re: Islamic books for childrens

Thanks GTG, gonna go check those out!

Re: Islamic books for childrens

Thanks GTG! thats a great list!

Re: Islamic books for childrens

Thanks girl.. I just keep adding them in my amazon wish list when I come across one

Islamic books are usually pricey (15-20 bucks each ) so I just buy books occasionally to build his library on budget.

If you can’t find any on amazon, let me know and I will look up the authors name for you .

Re: Islamic books for childrens

Another book perfect for first time roza keepers is “My first Ramadan” by Karen Katz. She is not Muslim but I think she did a great job writing about it for Muslim kids.
I bought it for my daughter last Ramadan to help her understand why we fasted and what Ramadan meant for us. It worked great and she still likes to “read” it, even though it’s not Ramadan yet.

Re: Islamic books for childrens

Hilmy the Hippo looks so cute. I want to buy those just for myself

Re: Islamic books for childrens

That’s a great suggestion. He kept half day rozas last year and he’s very eager to try to keep whole days this year, he’s already been telling me :hayaa: .. I think it would be good with a book which he can return to on his own. I’ll look it up on amazon as well.
