Negotiation is a specialist’s job…not a politician’s point scoring playground. Doing your own business is not the same as minding your own business. There is a reason why vigilante justice is frowned upon, no matter how well intended.

As I said before, Zamurud basically failed in his attempt, and landed smack on the ground, whereas the gunman had 2 guns with a clear sight of about 50 odd people. If a few people had died because of Zamurud’s stupidity, we would be singing a different tune.

A few months ago, there was a hostage situation in the US, where a crazy gunman kidnapped a child. The police cornered him, and negotiated with him for 6 days before tiring him out and moving in. Some things just require patience.

Our media is ratings hungry, and they look for cheap action, and shape the mind of the public accordingly…and sadly, we fall into that trap too often.

Silaaj I dont disagree with you completely but blaming someone for rating and cheap actions is not appropriate here. Kuch karen to ghalat kuch naa ker saken to ghalat. If US managed to take that step towards the kidnapper, not necessarily we should do the same… you talk about 6 days here, I dont know if YOU know how the general public started laughing at our Police forces for 6 hours… JUST 6 hours… ke dekho 6 ghantay hogaye aur kuch bhi na ker saki…

^ you said that, and I agree completely.. of course, if people had died, we would curse him, so if we can curse someone for his mistakes, why can’t we appreciate someone for a daring step… yun hota to woon hota… why assumptions? hoa to nahin naa… ab jab nahin hua to why so negativity? Hota to dekha jata… phir bohat kuch different hota… But filhal its time to discuss kia hoa, aur jo bhi hoa, theek hua… to sabar shukar kyun nahin ker sakti awaam? Kisi haal main to chain ho..

Zamarrud Khan is a PPP rehnuma, and I personally HATE PPP, hate is even not the extreme word BUT, I would never ignore a daring step he took, I dont say he is a Hero.. but I must say… he is a brave man… only for ratings, no one would want to keep his life in risk…

Ham ghar main mojud ho aur Gali main fire ho jaye to ham kaanp jatay hain, bacho ko windows ke pas janay se mna kertay hain… lights off kerdete hain… Us banday ke SAAMNAY wo banda guns leke khara hay and he attempted this act… and jab fire hua… everybody seen how Zamarrud Khan managed to save the child… wo sab aik instant moment tha aur aisay moment p acchy accho ke hatho ke totay urr jatay hain… Agr rating ka intension hota to wo apni jaan bachata hua nazar aata, wahan se bhagta… So… What I want to say here is… jo bhi hua…isay aisay hi hona tha… aur shayad yehi theek tha… do you think the children would have been able to survive for 6 days without food or anything??
