Personally, I find it really tough to believe that somebody will kill people just because it's promised in the Quran. But yeah if they are they are no better than Sharaabi.

Good point captain. Muslims population are failing to see their own problem and try to hide their own incompetance in removing corrupt and totalitarial govts by pushing their blame on american imperial power. If u want a revolution then start at ur home. Bring back khalipha if u think that best serves the purpose of the muslims world wide. But please stop these nonsense suicide bombings. They are cowerds who lost the purpose of life and too weak to fight and live.

The general public is impotent when it comes to having true representation. The minute I say we should get rid of Musharaf, since he is a dictator, there will be an army of patriotic Pakistanis calling me unpatriotic, and supporter of left and right, not only this they will come up with all those weird arse reasons claiming that Mushraf is democratically elected president of Pakistan in an army attire. The amount of energy we spend for crying out loud for Muslim persecution, if only 1% of that energy is used, we can have true representative governments. But then, we don’t like that, and we don’t want that, nobody wants a bearded man to run Pakistan, just like the west.

You have no clue of what suicide bombing is, and who are those who go for suicide missions and what their backgrounds and goals are.

I completely agree with you. We do need to remove such people, and unless we change the entire system, by that I mean impose Shariah completely...the next incoming ruler will be a puppet too. The entire tree is corrupted, and needs to be pulled out from its roots. Just clipping off a stem wont do any good.
But then how many people in pakistan would want a Taliban style governemnt. Shariah would ban everything that Islam forbids, and the contemporary world allows.

hey I am all for a religious person being a leader as long as he is not the types that we see encouraging their followers to burn down pizza huts or to attack ppl of other sect, or go on rampages to break items at music stores which are private property..which comes back to the initial topic of this thread, using unislamic means to go to some supposed islamic cause is fairly confusing, which basically indicates that groups who are talking the big talk on religion are realy more about power and politics than anything else.

What I meant was that if the suicide bombers die just because heaven is promised to them then I pity those guys coz to their surprise they'll find themselves standing at the gates of hell.
But if they die rebelling against some kind of injustice they have the right (but there are other much more powerful means too, like non-violence for example) to do so.

It will take generations for common public (masses in Muslim countries) to realize that suicide-bombing by "groups" and calling it jihad is wrong, on the same token it is difficult for someone to keep their heads down while being oppressed (read Palestine), if they really want to achieve their aim they can do all the suicide bombing they want but should not use any religion to justify their actions.

Don't fear about next ruler, if you are able to establish a good Islamic government and a good check / balance system then you will have control of the ruler as well.

That is the EXACT problem with us. A big population doesn't want Islam to be established as country's law, but a sizeable population really wants to push it and resorts to violence in doing so. All in all, it shows that we have far astrayed from teachings of Islam.

It is very ironic that Americans who feel proud to be secular have a democratically elected President who claims to have spoken with God and carries out campaigns according his wishes. We can debate all we want on whether these groups truly represent “Islamic Jihad”, but if you know the entire history of Palestine and Lebanon, you will have some understanding on why these people take arms in their hands.
