Which book is better than the Qur'an and explain why?
I think you have not quite understood what the Qur'an is asking you. In the Qur'an it talks about how it is consistent with itself and had it been from anyone other than God it would have within it much discrepancy. If you agree with this criteria of being a book from Divine or a supernatural source that no man of the 7th century could have made it, let alone one who had never been taught (SAW). Then take up the challenge either present a chapter like it to have the same impact and amazement and truth and style and form and yet at the same time be superior in grammar to anything you have seen before then bring it and present it here to meet the challenge.
There are numerous books more than several centuries older tha Quran that contain great philosophies, incomparable beauty in verse and unsurpassed wisdom. Check out any of the Vedas or the numerous interpretations. The interpretations are all man made. The VEdas ofcourse are known to have emerged from divinity.
