ISLAM MADE EASY

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

Peace SlaveofAllaah

JazakAllah khairain to you ... I didn't misunderstand your post, but I think some others may have. I initially added my post for putting the initial debate that had started regarding the idea that Kalimah was enough to get us into Paradise.

May Allah give us all knowledge to learn more. Ameen.

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

in purity of Tawheed...one should also not forget the status of Muhammad(pbuh) upon which allah and his angels send durood...allah called to him in Mairaj...and ended prophethood on him....this satus never came to any other prophet out of 1,24,000....so that sunnah is one of the most important aspect to gain allah love with tawheed....

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

Peace dawa-i-dil

That is true that Muhammad (SAW) is the last prophet. Isa (AS) was a great miracle worker too. Abraham (AS) was a man of great iman etc.

In the Qur'an we are told to say that we believe in all the prophets and that 'we make no distinction in them' ....

....Except that Muhammad (SAW) is the prophet who we follow in this ummah. Just trying to make a subtle point.

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

in place where a promise from all great messengers ..muhammad(pbuh) is kept first...i can never ever degrade my prophet(pbuh)...he is the leader of all prophet(pobuh) and leaded the prayer in Jerusalem when jibreel gave azzan and all prophets offered namaz behind him..never evr...he is the leader of all prophets...and allah gifted him Mairaj..when he saw allah only ffrom a difference of two Cammans...as in quran....who other also gifted with this...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

we do not worship muhammad(pbuh)...but he is after allah...nutshell !!!!!!

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

A beautiful thread, and I don't know how I miss it earlier.

I agree brother. If anything can make "Imaan" of a muslim stronger or open the hearts of a non-muslim to accept Islam is that he must "know" and "understand" Allah in the "true sense"

The more we start to come closer to Allah, the more it becomes easier for us to understand and believe in the other issues (major and minor ones) related to Islam.

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

We love Prophet Muhammad(SAW) more than anyone and we love Allah more than Prophet Muhammad(SAW).
Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh) said:
“Love Allah because he nourishes and sustains
*you. Love me because Allah loves me” *(Tirmidhi)

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

So you are comparing the Prophets with each other?

RUtba and status of a Prophet is only for Allah to decide who is more and who is less. Allah has ordered us to not to distinguish between Prophets.

Al-Qur'an
3:84. Say: "We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam)."

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

sis…question is not that …definitely love of allh comes first …but this love is achieved by following sunnah “ONLY” as in quran…Tell to them that…if you want to love allah…love me(muhammad)…allah will remove all your sins…

so its just two different ways of looking at a same thing from two different sides…virtually they are same…

sis…i respect very much ahle-hadees/salfi/wahabi scholars thats why i also most of the time quoted from the site www.islam-qa.com

**but it never ever means whenever written by **

*** Ibne Katheer**
*** Ibne Baaz**
*Ibne Utheemeen
*munajid bin salih
*albani

always right…

they are not angels…prophets..rasools…masooms

i very much respect them…but its not necesarry that they are “ALWAYS” right in any rulings…

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

I only gave the ayah of Quran(regarding rutba of Prophets[pbut])…" We make no distinction between one and another among them,…"

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

There is also hadees of prophet(pbuh) that on qiyyammah ...the all prophets will gather under my flag..and i do not say this with pride...on that day..only i will ask fo "shiffat ..and i do not say this pride....etc etc....

 • he saw allah taala from nearest distance..while moosa (as) could not do this even on Toor .....

 • he went to Mairaj...no other went....

 • he leaded the prayer in Jerusalem while all prophets were behind him....

 • when Essa (as) will come...he will follow his shariah...

 • essa(as) told in Injeel Barnabas that a greater nabi will come after me....

so all thes points and hadees show that he is the greatest of all the prophets

and i have no doubt about that...i have no doubt about that...i have no doubt about that......!!!!!

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

Regarding that ayat...plz..sister...read in context.....
Al-Qur'an
the talk is about the message that every prophet spread...one-ness of Allah...means Tawheed....so all these great prophets spread the same message...not new or different...thats why we do not differentiate in between them..as they all came with the same message......

thats it talking about .....

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

There is also a hadith (recalling from memory here) that on the day of judgement when the sur is blown again to revive all the humans, the Prophert SAW will ressurect and find Musa AS already standing and he will not know whether he was resurrected before him or whether he even fell after the sur, this was in reply to someone when a case was brought to him where a Sahabi had slapped a Jew for professing the greatness of Musa AS in front of him and saying how dare you say that when Muhammad SAW is the greatest prophet. I have totally paraphrased here, in someone has the hadith handy please post it here.

However the prophet SAW himself discouraged from choosing greatness among prophets by comparing them. Each prophet had his own time and purpose.

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

it was the greatness of his humbleness...but this is 100% sure that he was the greatest of all messengers.....

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

Yes it was and if you wish to follow his sunnah then choose humility and don't go about making comparisons which result in more division among muslims.

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

i agree...i just want to "touch" the particular salafi/ahle- hadees thinking of prophet(pbuh) by just neglecting his high status..as allah sends durood on him....etc etc...

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

JAK. We should be following him instead of figuring out his status. He SAW was sent as an example to be followed and learnt from. He SAW established an example about not debating the status of prophets compared to one another and for us to learn by it we should not be repeating the same thing. Its that simple so can we go back to the original topic of the thread now.

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

JazakAllah USResident for your post. Quran is quite clear about this that we should not be doing the comparison among the Prophets.

And you........you are not agreeing with me bcoz you think I'm a salafi or ahle hadith. No, I'm not a salafi or ahle hadith.......
You think the ones who don't think like you are salafi or ahle hadith.
I call myself muslim..........and I like to be called muslim instead of sunni, shia, salafi, ahle hadith , deo bandi or bravli.

And you are again wrong by saying that salafi/ahle hadith neglects the status of Prophet Muhammad(SAW).

You're the one who is keep comparing the Prophets(PBUT)..........and you think you're following the Quran and Sunnah when they're clearly saying that don't do comparison among the Prophets(PBUT).

Now go and label others for not following your way of thinking.

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

plz…sister…no offence..plz…

where i specifically mention your name…there are 5 or 6 posts by different members…which talked about just tawheed but neglecting the sunnah of prophet(pbuh)…

regarding …where i have said that you are ahle-hadees…i talked in general term that such attitude is of saudia ulemas…that they do not give much importance to prophet(pbuh)…and this is true…

i have …infact..my first thread…was about this difference of opinion issue between different sects and schools of thought with name..Oh God…we have wasted 1400 yeatrs and still…the point is difference is always there as a living society alwys have difference…

http://www.paklinks.com/gs/showthread.php?t=240088&highlight=Oh+god+we+have+wasted+1400+years+still

but it is totally wrong that by saying …“only me right” and rest all are wrong..biddati…deviated…not so far just see the example of Allahukbar .net…this site even not spare…Maulana Maudoodi…you can differ with him..but plainly saying that you are deviated…who the hell given this power to select who is deviated and who is not…what “hardcore” version of islam they are spreading…

its very long debate…and out of topic…but just saying that “Taqleed” is haram …Abu Hanifa fiqah is 70 % wrong…people blindly follow him…ridiculing the all sufis but just taking example of one and two sufis…etc etc…

i am sorry to say …i will never ever rely on these foolish rulings …i respect saudi ahle hadees and also pakistani ahle hadees scholars …but thier “extremist” views in certainissues..i never ever accept that…they are not the care-takers of who is wrong and who is right…

yes Bukhari is great book…but everything is not Bukhari…everything is not Bukahari…everything is not Bukhari…

there are also other books which are of ahadees…Imam Bukhari was also human and definitely there are mistakes in Bukhari..its not quran…so blindly follow it is also not acceptable…

Just fighting the whole life that who do Rafa Yadain and who donot…who say Ameen Biljafhar and who do not…just bring hatred in the society…

Its not necessary that what Albani considered any hadees false..its actually false…its blind following of l;bani…whyn not people do this research to find which Asnaad are more true and other way round…

The greatest 4 faqeehs of all times…salif salihoon are not mad…foolish and ignorant…they were best people as they were near the age of prophet(pobuh) as in hadees…

neither all sufis are deviated as usually quoted by ahl;e hadees scholars…our whole Pakistan and india religion will be in hindus part if there were not these sufis !!!

there is an excellent debate on that issue at 4 months ago…when i posted this material from GS on sunniforum.com

http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17697&highlight=Oh+god..we+have+wasted+1400+years+still

beleive me..i am not saying you or anyother ahle hadees…but just pointing out that this attitude…according to my little knowledge,…against the great fuqhas…and sufis…and prophet(pbuh) is not suitable…

and that anothger reason…saudia ulemas ,most of the time do “Taqleed” of Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal…or Ibne Jauziyya or Ibne Tammiyya…!!!

Re: ISLAM MADE EASY

**Distinction Between the Prophets of Allah **
Answered by Shaykh Gibril F Haddad

Question… In light of the Quranic ayahs such as 2:285: The messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers; they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers; We make no difference between any of His messengers; and they say: We hear and obey, our Lord! Thy forgiveness (do we crave), and to Thee is the eventual course.

Who are we, to make distinctions between the prophets of Allah and say that Prophet Muhammad (s) was the greatest? I am not asking how do we know he is the greatest, I am asking why is it a part of basic aqidah to believe he is the greatest prophet when the quran states that we should not make any distinctions.

Answer

The Qur’an states we should not make any distinctions of believing in one of them and disbelieving in another. This is a reference to the Christians who make a difference between the Prophets on the one hand and the Prophet Muhammad on the other; and to the Jews who reject `Isa in addition.

**Otherwise, the Qur’an itself states, {Of those messengers, some of whom We have caused to excel others, and of whom there are some unto whom Allah spoke, while some of them He exalted (above others) in degree…} (2:253). Allah also mentions “the Messengers of inflexible purpose” (ulil-`azm 46:35). **

Furthermore, the Sunna is replete with explicit statements to the effect that our liege-lord Muhammad is the greatest of the Prophets and Messengers as well as the best of creation including the angels brought near and this is a matter of explicit Consensus which is more binding than the Qur’anic proof because it is not open to interpretation - not even false interpretation
