After studying quran for more than 5 months i have been so far impressed with islam. I haven’t realized and always underestimated KorAN. Islam always been mis-intrpreted in eye of many people and that inculded me. The saying of prophet Mohammad----Al-Hadith..overly impressed me as well as his attitude toward life. Since iam minoring in islamic studies..i’ve begun to go to local mosque and attended dars and friday sermon. I hope it will give me more chance to learn.

I am really glad for you. Just stick to the Quran and you will avoid most of the issues. Most Muslims have not understood Quran themselves and you are perhaps way ahead of them! They also usually know everything else except Quran, something that every Muslim should ponder upon.

Thank you..i was expecting opposite from all of you. I fasted today with my pakistani muslim friend. Islam prohibits from killing innocent but i wonder what hammas and islamic jihad is been doing totally opposite to what is it in KorAN.

But the immediate question that raises in my mind is “What attracted you in Islam that was so compelleing to pull you into its study beyond this being a Minor subject in your studies as you are now going to the local mosque and listening to the dars”

@armughalI have read you replies. Simply say, i find your replies very offensive. If Allah can be Al-rakhmann with us why can't you. I don't see any human in you..instead you seem to be one of those type who shoot first in the arm and then talk. So far, and i even argue about this to my Jews community that Islam is not what HAMMAS or Islamic jihad preaches. LoOK at islam as any other respectful religion who belives in peace. Peace not among human being but with God as well. And for that peace to be, creator of earth and heavens must have had to be merciful. Atleast i know that as being non-muslim. Why can't you teach love of God instead of only hellfire hellfire. I hope you learn from it.
