Re: Islam hee Islam for men, women, boys, girls, wives, husbands and more wives…
apologies but we are talking about two different things…i was just focusing on muslim history and was trying to point out that after Prophet (PBUH) and his 4 successors, islam as a religion never payed a role in running a government …
even when prominent scholars and theologians like Imam Malik, Imam Abu hanifa, Imama Hanbal and Imama Shafi were alive, they struggled in crafting a constitutional framework of an Islamic government or how a islamic state would look like…with so many sects already in place and no formal guidance from Quran and hadith on gazallion of topis involving jurisprudence, constitution, bureaucracy and social life, it was hard to follow one unified framework acceptable to everyone
not to mention these imams were continuous tortured by their respective Muslim rulers who never wanted a islamic state rather they just wanted to reinforce their kingdoms…
and I specifically asked that from Umayyad Caliphate, to abbassi, to spainish rule to Osmania to mughal empire, tell me one periodd where muslim rulers ruled using Islamic jurisprudence…these were just kingdoms and their rulers happened to be muslims.
so the point i was trying to make was that our political mullahs are just making noise for nothing as they have no solution to run a government based on Islamic principles because their is no historical precedence…
