Islam and "Pants Shirt"

OK. Jinnah wore three piece suit.

Does this mean he wanted people to follow his dress code?
Feel free to cite his words in this regard. Please feel free to enlighten us.

Read below the example:

THIS IS YOUR FATHER OF NATION.

THIS IS AUGUST 14th 1947. THE DAY YOU GOT FREEDOM.

I ASK YOU TO NOT EVER WEAR ANYTHING BUT A **THREE PIECE SUIT.

**My loved one.

The three piece suite (on the outside).

I would love to be buried in.........................

my (seemingly) three piece suit.

Even though it is actually 10 piece suite assuming he wore all of them.

One shirt
One pant
One underwear
One tie
One Jacket
One Waistcost
Two socks
two Shoes

YOU MUST FOLLOW ME AS YOUR BELOVED PROPHET AND MESSENGER.

I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT ME BUT YOU WILL SURE BURN IN HELL FIRE IF NOT FOLLOW MY COMMANDS.:)

This is surely the statement by a Jihadi.

You mean Jihadi Qauid MA Jinnah? The person in three piece (actually ten piece) suit who wanted ALL Pakistani to wear his attire and forced it by making this kind of statement?

Re: Islam and "Pants Shirt"

Shalwar Kameez is a desi thing...not necessarily Islamic or religious clothing.

Regardless, I dont think its right that your child be upset because he doesnt wear shalwar kameez to school...he shouldnt be so afraid. I would talk to the people in charge straight away and ask them where does it state in all of your paperwork that children have to wear shalwar kameez to school?

I went to a private Islamic school as well and we were not told to wear shalwar kameez. It was a hijab and abaya for the girls and pants and shirts for the boys.

u know what i mean man
hygiene and comfort were crap back then
we live a lot cleaner now :)
