It has nothing to do with second chances. Everything to do with being in the wrong place with the wrong mindset.
Many people have died for far less…many people here would have no qualms throwing out such people with the bathwater of terrorism. Anyhoo…
Had this been a year ago, I’d have suggested people were being blood thirsty…at this point, I think one can’t be in so deep with ISIS and not have participated in their crimes.
Also, there’s the very real likely hood this is more about an internal power struggle than a change of heart.
