ISI chief Hamid Gul’s remarks outrageous: US

I think there is absolutely nothing new about Hamid Gul or Jamaat putting blames on America. It happens all the time. In fact it is not just Hamid Gul. There are myriads of people, especially the columnists in various newspapers who like to do that.

What’s different this time is only that someone from American government took notice of it, and made a statement.

Looks like Americans have started paying attention to Pakistani press and media.

I think there is serious concern in the west that lunatics like Gul seem to control the Pakistani media. Geo for example, and to lesser degree ARY are simply mouth pieces of the ISI. Hamid Mir and Shahid Masood are both paid on the ISI payrol.

May be that Americans were telling their masters in the ISI to lay off.

What Pakistan needs is a free and fair media, with good investigative journalism, not some tabloid press which loves making statements with out any evidence.
