resignation via fax : / and by the only governor in this history of Pakistan (may be many more countries) who stayed on his position for more than 10 years! and he couldn't spend single day without power. speaks volumes of the party he belongs to

The safest bet one can make about MQM is that people will find a way to abuse or accuse it no matter what.
Only a few days ago when MQM announced that it was being persecuted for demanding army action, there were people on the media and on this forum taunting MQM to make the governor resign from his post. And now that he did just that ... more accusations and abuses.

I think the MQM is just testing NS to see if he will do what Zardari was doing for 5 years...every time they pulled out of the government he'd be in London kissing AHs rear and asking them to come back. Let see what happens this time, and if the new govt will do the same thing.

but back then Zardari was in charge of Fed and Sindh, here NS is only incharge of Fed, not Sindh.

Governor is just a federal representative (the infamous 'governor rules') so I don't know if one can blame governors for the bad situation of the province. Sure, they can dissolve a govt but that govt can go to court and it isn't like there are much better alternatives sitting in the assembly. A dissolved PPP govt would still end up forming another PPP govt in the province with a different CM.
