If Allah had planned to take Jesus(as) away to heavens then what was the purpose of putting another person of his resemblance on the cross and let him die. This is simply beyond understanding. If jews had known or ascension of Jesus(as) had taken place before their eyes, they would have prostrated right therem or do you think they could have followed him upto the heavens
There was no witness of the ascension of Jesus(as) and he was not there to tell about it then how did that ascension theory came about. and this theory that had no basis unfortunately trickled into islamic beliefs as well.
