Re: Is Wudu Compulsory?
My friend asked me this question. She does not cover her head i.e does not wear a hijab. If she has wudu and goes out where non mahram can see her. Is her wudu still valid. Many Pakistanis think its not? I was wondering what the answer to this is.
Another thing, what if you do cover and have wudu but a non mahram touched you, is it still valid if it is accidental? Lol
Cases where you are at a shop and the vendor passes you the change but accidently touches your hand????

yes its still valid
Re: Is Wudu Compulsory?
Which none shall touch but those who are clean (56:79)
and this state of “cleanliness” here is also defined in Quran itself, which is what you achieve by making Wudoo, or sometimes, by Ghussal…
this is mandatory to touch the “mushaf” the material on which words of Quran are printed, though you can read Quran without wudoo if you have memorized. but still its one of “aadaab” of reading Quran to make wudoo first (if possible) even if you are not touching the mushaf
Re: Is Wudu Compulsory?
I was merely stating that if you do not need ghul then making wudu is enough to achieve tahur. I have no opinion on that from anybody on What kind of tahur you have to have before touching Quran.
In Sura Maaida (5.6) the verse clearly states that if you want to say salat you wash/wipe certain body parts but total ablution (shower) is needed if 'purity' is needed.
Yes Wudu is compulsory for whoever can perform it.
Refer to surah #5, verse #6 of the Qur'an.
Wudu is compulsory for "Salaat" in Surah 5 verse 6, it does not mandate wudu for touching Quran.

These types of 'touch' have nothing to do with wudu.
