My rishta came throo my mom as my mum does rishteh for othe ppl...... as it happens, my hubby was lookin out for rishteh n happened to spot me by chance when he came to talk to my mum bout potential rishtas....he obviously fell in love at first sight (like u do when u see an innocent luking gal..lol) n decided dat he would b frank n ask my hand for marriage there n then, same day.. saying to my mum 'aunti ji, forget all these rishteh you have, how bout ur daughter?'... u can imagine my mum was gobsmacked... lol - n when she told me later what happened i thought his a bit crazy.. but one thing lead to another n we met, clicked, so got to kno one another, n ended up hitched soon after... funny, isnt it? love hits u when u least xpect it... i wouldnt say my marriage was arranged but neither was it a love marriage where we dated n dat.... it's kind of an-in-between marriage... lol, dont kno if there is a name given to such type of marriages..
