Is this

The new style? Shorter kameezes with churidaar pajama? I think its gorgeous! What do you call this kind of kaam?

Re: Is this

i luvvv it, iv seen thm a lot lately too, mainly on actresses.

i also liked that "anarkali" style that came a while bak
it was gorgeous

Re: Is this

I liked that one too, but I think this one looks more practical to wear... you could definitely wear it more than once.

Re: Is this

If I were that ugly I would never stand next to eshooria.

Re: Is this

it,s a gorgeous outfit..!

Re: Is this

ooooooooooooooo that’s niceee!

KA - :omg:

Re: Is this

Oopsie...no offence but i did a fashion faux pas special n this dress was included in it ...maybe i just dun like such kind of kapre cuz every1 else here seems 2 like it.

Re: Is this

^ In pakistan? is this style popular there?
i really love churidars but they just feel so weird, i dont know if thats just how they are or they were sewn weirdly…mine have chunnats at hte bottom but its kinda loose all the way down…which looks an dfeels odd. i wnat them to be kinda fitted and tight. :halo:

Re: Is this

^Yeah mine too mine too! The first and only time I ever wore one, it was really loose till the knee and then it got tight from the calf down. It was bought in j.heights back in the day so maybe that was the style… but it hadnt felt right back then either :hmmm:

Re: Is this

I have yet to see a proper churidar worn by any1 except in movies :(....

Re: Is this

Yeah traditionally churidars were like that b/c the kameezes were so long tthey’d cover the “puffy” part… but now that kameezes are getting shorter, they’re getting more fitted at the thigh as well. I got one ready-made suit like that, it was very uncomfortable.

Re: Is this

churidaar's should not be so baggy, should they? and she hardly has any "choori's" to it... im so not a fan of the short shirt and churidaar. even ash can't pull it off!

Re: Is this

i hope not. it's not that graceful.

Re: Is this

Actually the short-shirt and churidaar has now reached India..it became very popular in Pakistan in 2004! Iman Ali pulled it off beautifully at the 2004 Lux Style Awards..Umar sayeed was the designer =)

Re: Is this

hmmm ive never worn one in my life its just that ive started liking it coz i think it goives more of a girly look and i dont think its in pakistan coz ive recently bought one and its shirt is hardly up to my knees and i bought it from an indian store i personally like the churidaars with the long shirt i think it looks elegant and really graceful and in pakistan ive never seen the shorter version

Re: Is this

That is not a churidar

Its just a pajama or pants.

churidar pajamas are extra extra long so when you wear 'em the extra fabric forms rings around your legs giving the choori effect and hence the name choridar.

Usually they are worn with short kameez or long kameez with very long chawks to get the right look.

Re: Is this

^ :D

Re: Is this

Chup, my mind boggles at calling straight pants churidar, Aline shirts as paishwaz and ghararas and shararas getting mixed
