Proper churidaar's paired with short-shirts became pretty popular in Pakistan in 2004..and it looked great..

is it just me or does that style make the wearer look a little... fat? gosh, if aishwariya rai ends up looking a bit thick in that style, i cringe to think what i'd look like, lol.

the dupatta looks like it has kundan ka kaam.. those tear drop shaped pieces of kundan in the work..
the churidar is nice and elegant with not too much chooris.. but just a few on her ankle

Watever she still looks hot.
Color combo and design is pretty but she looks like a woman wearing a little girl's dress, with pants.
I prefer the longer kameezay with churidars.
LOVE the shoes though!

I think short shirts are inn in India, its long shirts time in Pakistan with churidaars, pants, capris etc.
