Is this the end of a 30-year bull market?

Re: Is this the end of a 30-year bull market?

I think that ‘moving out of US’ desire is a gut feeling of every normal person these days.

Do you think Senate will pass the current tax bill?

Re: Is this the end of a 30-year bull market?

Yeah, they will. They would have today, hadnt the Senate parliamentarian repeatedly pointed out procedural problems with their sneaky bill. Will be pretty bad for almost anyone who is young and owns a decent home or lives in a blue state with high state taxes. It is going to come down to Bob Corker and Jeff Flake. And as much as they are seen as anti-Trump, this bill isnt that far from their ideological points of view if the deficit part is excused.

But none of that bothers me as much as this whole endorsement of racism and anti-intellectualism. US isnt worth living in if it decides to be entirely like the rural south. But that is where it is headed rapidly. Bunch of backwardly racists and “christians” from Arkansas and Alabama are dictating national policy. eff that!

Re: Is this the end of a 30-year bull market?

And the senate passed the lame ass tax bill last night. i think americans deserve it for electing as president a dumb greedy billionaire who has never worked an honest day in his life. Lots of tax cuts in it for billionaires, private jet owners, golf course owners, for one single christian college that betsy devos donates to but for no other uni in the US. Plenty of tough taxes on grad students, lower middle class, home owners, high local taxed regions (blue counties haha), high tax states (again blue states). 1.5 trillion dollars in deficit INCREASES. Basically takes a big chunk of tax money meant to help the poor, students, local govts, and gives it to the richest 0.5% as tax breaks. Nicely done, dumerica.

If you have your money in real estate, homes etc., time to sell and put it in cash-heavy company stocks. With corporate tax reductions, companies are going to either buy back stocks or pay chunky dividends. At least that’s what I think is going to happen in a couple of years if this bill sticks around to be law. Maybe look into some Vegas and resort stocks.
