This is not a good idea. Remember to separate your personal feelings and work. Being fair and honest is the way to go at work, believe me, people will notice and more importantly you’ll be doing the right thing. Right now it sounds like you want to work with the girl because she “looks good,” well my friend, you’re not a judge on Miss Universe and you should be a professional about it.

A few other points:

How would you like it, if you were bumped from a project because of your looks?

You never know what the future holds and this junior guy may be a big shot in your industry, down the road.

Returning to the girl, if you like her enough, talk to her on your own time.

Also, you will notice a few women on this forum are messed up in the head, so expect more name calling and catty responses. I am not going to hate on you or judge you for being honest, just do the right thing.

I agree. I am totally for fairness in the workplace.

The picture I was trying to paint was of a HYPOTHETICAL scenario, where the guy and girl are equal in every perspective (ofcourse other than gender). The guy can be easily assigned to another equally important project. In that particular scenario, morally, would it be wrong to swap them out.
