Raindance, all of our different classes seem to be resorting to conversing in English. If it's the elite, I could sort of understand as they seem to have developed some sort of complex. However, all of our different classes now are speaking in English.
I've been around people with whole bunch of different backgrounds. This includes lower, middle and upper class. I've never seen them converse in English amongst each other with the exception of throwing in a few words here and there.
Many of them even proudly admit that their English is not good, as English is not their native language. They don't seem to be shy or worried about it.
