with all the hot air and arrogance of the Americans this incident shows they cannot take on 2 wars at the same time!
They claim we can fight 2 nations or 2 wars well come on the put your money where your mouth is you could'nt even fight the chicken farmers of vietnam with your million dollar fighting machines and chemical weapons.
and in afghanistan they got the natives(northern alliance) to do the fighting for them and in turn increasing the heroin and drugs trade 100% in afhghanistan the US can talk the talk but cant walk the walk!
Brilliant post ak47.
The true winners are the starving North Koreas, their so lucky to have a leader like Kim.
Things are starting to get real interesting now…
…how much force do you think they’ll put into the first drive on Seoul once the US commits to Iraq?
Worse yet, July 27th is the 50 year anniversary of the signing of the armistice. More interestingly a larger than ususal number of US troops are due to take place in the annual "Foal Eagle" military exercise in South Korea, which is slated to take place starting March 5th.
Note the timing of having a larger than normal deterrent force in South Korea at the same time an action is expected in Iraq.
North Korea’s march to war with the world.
It’s a misconception that North Korea’s recent behavior is only a threat to the United States. North Korea’s threat to pull out the 1953 armistice is a clear threat to South Korea. North Korea’s words of war also threaten China, Russia, and Japan. North Korea’s bark has been heard by South Korea who has stated North Korea’s action may force them into an arms race. Last week Japan warned; “it is prepared to launch a military strike against North Korea if Tokyo finds evidence that the rogue communist state is about to attack with a ballistic missile."
…
N. Korea threatens to end armistice
Well so far the US is trying to play down the latest North Korean threat, which is so very different from it’s approach to Iraq. And who is the bigger threat in terms of WMD?
NK test fired a missile in preparatoin for US pre-emptive strike.
**N. Korea Test-Fires Missile Into Sea of Japan **
The missile flew about 36 miles from the east coast of the Korean peninsula and splashed into the Sea of Japan.
I am sure that NK will be firing more missiles in the coming weeks, and showing up American hypocrisy even more. Here is a sensible article from an American newspaper which exposes the double standards in the US position.

Is US going to liberate N. Koreans??.. oops so sorry Kim has nukes :2guns: its not possible, my bad, better to lobe few more cruise at Sudan and flex muscle..
Time for my nap :sleep2: … yawn… see ya foks latter.

Now North Korea must be invaded and liberated, for the sake of its people
Dude you're living in the past. Korea was 50 years ago, Vietnam was 30 years ago and Sudan was under Clinton and pre 9/11. Afghanistan and Iraq are representative of the massive military strength of today's super power. The lobbing of cruise missles is as much as part of past US military policy as are the uncomitted conflicts of Korea and Vietnam. The US is comitted to taking out today's bad guys, but that doesn't mean they are going to iniate a conflict that could kill millions of people. (Wouldn't that make excellent guppie food?!) There was not that risk in taking out Afghanistan and Iraq and that's why they have already been "liberated". I know it gives you chill bumps to revive this thread to call the US cowards, losers and pretty boys. What purpose does it serve to post these dogmatic views that deride the US for pursuing a diplomatic solution rather, than one that could cost millions of lives?
^ Yep you are right 50 years ago Kim neither had nukes nor 5000 tons of chemical and bio weapons and he certainly never had 1300 missiles to show his love.. Yep you are right that was 50 years ago when he kicked in broad day light only God knows what will he do now… Oh there is one way to find out ------------- ** TRY **
P.S: Sorry for rubbing it in ![]()
Please don't apologize for your giddiness, you do not give me any inferioty complex or shame. What great war tradition do you hail from that allows you the voracity to belittle the military might and history of the US? Your country must have won every war it has been engaged in!
^ I was Ho Chi Minhs second in command, does that answer your question… I was also adviser to Castro at Bay of Pigs… SO when is US liberating Koreans.. take my advise, dont… ![]()
Ah, so you are a mercenary and do not claim a homeland or any loyalties. That would come in very convenient if you were to be from a country with no military history or victories to its name.
Thanks for the advice, but I don't think that the US is not going to attack and risk the lives of millions in Korea any time soon.
^ my my my after killing 4 million in the 50s and 60s suddenly so much concern for those 4 footers... LOL... I am glad that Kims nukes have made you civilised enough to think twice. So there is no chance of liberaing the poor Koreans... You better stick to lobing bombs at states that cannot hit back.. Kim can defeat you again, 500 miles that is.
Nicely said mr Abdali :k:

That said Seminole, If North Korea were to export Nuclear material I think the President would find broad support for stopping such a thing from happening by any means necessary.

But what about the suffering North Korean people??
Seminole,
"I know it gives you chill bumps to revive this thread to call the US cowards, losers and pretty boys. What purpose does it serve to post these dogmatic views that deride the US for pursuing a diplomatic solution rather, than one that could cost millions of lives?'
North Korea: The pigmy will nuke you and he will spill the blood of millions doing it, blah blah, blah.
It seems as if there is this burning need for someone to stand up and give the US a bloody nose. Time after time the merchants of doom and gloom have dire predictions of millions of refugees, half a million children killed, humanitarian crises leaping from every corner, and catastrophe after catastrophe in the battlefield.
But one really has to take with a grain of salt the rantings of a country who is relying on the world food program for donations, and the western countries donations of fuel oil. Just how competant do you think NK really is? Desperate yes. Competent in a conflict? Doubtful. They are isolated, dealing with 1950's technology, and Lil Kim would probably be as capable a general as Saddam proved to be.
The real problem for NK is that everyday they get weaker and the US gets stronger. Time is on the side of the US, as there is not much more rabble rousing that NK could do, short of an event that could trigger war. Would anybody really be that suprised or concerned if they tested a nuclear weapon tomorrow?
Just because Lil' Kim is stamping his foot and screeching "look at me", does not mean he gets what he wants....whatever that really is....
