That’s not true. I know some people who are divorced and they are happy that they are no longer with their previous partner.
The fact that our culture judges these people so much, (sorta like this comment of yours…) frustrates them, makes life difficult for them, and makes it super hard for people to find spouses once they’re divorced (if you assume these people are divorced and have mental issues, then so do all the other single people out there now that COULD be marrying one of these divorcees).
Sometimes, our own judgements and attitudes towards others hurts them more than anything else.
