Re: Is the problem really that bad between men and women?
While I’ll admit that for some reason hijabis (statistically) have an easier time getting rishtas. But I have also known some guys who prefer non-hijabis. None of these other points you mentioned have stopped anyone that I know of from getting married.
Lower income and education than who? I don’t think this is really an issue with anybody I know, and I do know of some couples where the wife earns more than the husband.
I’m not even sure what a baby act is. I don’t know anyone who is looking for someone who is dependent.
Do you really think most girls who get married have all of that?
How would he even know about this at the proposal stage?
I don’t know of anybody who depends/depended on his father in law for a job/business.
There are men who want stay at home wives and there are also those who want working wives. I know of many women who are working, even some who started after they got married. Whatever your aspirations are, I’m (99%) sure there’s someone who would support you in that.
Well, I hope something works out for you.
