Sorry to say very few people know that. Literacy is very low back home and plus we also have few educated illiterate that don't understand this scientific fact.
Just very sad.
its not just scientific. it is mentioned in Quran, since 1400 years.
And that He (Allâh) creates the pairs, male and female,
From Nutfah (drops of semen - male and female discharges) when it is emitted. (53: 45-46)
Well taking it islamic way! For the 97% of the populations of Pakistan who has never read the trasnlation of the Quran. The Quran describes it that it is God's will that an angle comes down and selects the Gender for Male or Female and thus you shouldn't be blaming any one becasue its God's decision. Well the so called Muslims of Pakistan would understand that if they read the translation fo the Quran and actually try to understand it instead of bragging how many times they've finished Qurain in one year! Seriously im not joking dont believe me read the Quran i forgot what Sura its from but its in there perhaps in the 28th chapter.
i will try to look in Surah Al Qasas.
but it is for sure mentioned in Surah Al Najm (The Star).
( وَأَنَّهُ خَلَقَ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنثَىِ . من نُّطْفَةٍ إِذَا تُمْنَى) ) النجم 45-46 )
translation:
That He did create in pairs -- male and female.
From a seed when lodged (in its place)
that quote doesnt say anything about what determines the baby's sex. and neither is it determined when semen is emitted. sorry, zobia.
it does. u need to take both english and arabic classes. and i feel sorry for u.
ps. Surah Najam is one of the Surah that prostated both the muslims and non-muslims at the time when Prophet Muhammad PBUH publicly recited in front an assembly of the Quraish.

it doesnt. it doesnt even ascribe gender to semen, just a mix of male and female fluids, whatever that is.
and secondly, gender isnt determined until the sperm/sperms fuses with the ovum. which is much later than ejaculation/emission of sperms as your quote mentions.

why would you believe Quran?
no one is forcing you to track yourself out of your pagan beliefs.
i posted it for Muslims anyways, who dont know about it.
ps. the word "seed" is pretty self explanatory what gender the "Ayat" is referring to. if you dont wana belief it sure dont belief on it. but modern science also proved the 1400 years ago Quran's ayats.

and i dont need any bio lecture from you.
baat ka batangar na banao.
your quote, wherever it is from, is not saying what you are claiming it says. its as simple as that.

It is NOT my quote. it is direct from Quran. and i dont know what other interpretation you are getting from these "verses"
ps. baat ka batanger main nahi app bana rahay hoo.
ps2. the amount of questions you asks me these days, and the energy you spending on finding Islam and Pakistan, i will request you to seek some proper help. i am not a scholar. i am seeking guidance myself. i will request you to take this Quranic verse to brother psych or Submission of Peace. if you want u can also start the thread that Zobia quoted something from Quran, and discuss it.
meanwhile i will try to interpret your words of wisdom.
Re: Is the Pakistani public aware of the fact that
lol.. thanks but i'm pretty sure that quote does not clearly state whose fluids determine gender, or when. it could be the word of god but it doesnt address the issue under discussion, sorry zobia.
