Nope, not at all because I was this person a couple of years ago. It took me a really long time to come around and accept that marriage is even a possibility for me. I am still in the process of accepting it (almost there) and it is a very tough journey but I am glad alhmadulillah that I have a loving partner who is supportive.
So the key for me was to change my thinking and start looking at the brighter side of marriage and boy has it been an inner struggle.
So no I don't think you are weird at all if you want to stay single or want to delay getting married until you feel comfortable starting that journey.
