Yar, that is 6 million dollar question :) Even though I would like to see election soon, but I do not think that it would happen that soon (unless some abnormal happens, like confrontation between Presidency and Parliament). I believe that most likely election would happen after 3 to 4 years (maybe in 2012). Though there is 25 to 30 percent chance that election may happen within next one year. [That is my guess]
Re: Is Punjab next?
Saleem can you also please give a long detailed seat by seat prediction now that you are claiming new elections are coming up?
Re: Is Punjab next?
^ Waisay who is the one that can leash the N-League in Punjab?? If it is PPP that can prove suicidal. Besides now BB is not alive either , so there would not be much BB votes either except perhaps for Sindh.
72% of people in Punjab did not vote for PML N in Punjab (they even came second place, behind the PML Q which came first). So the overwhelming majority of people in Punjab voted for others like PML Q, PPP and other parties.

:D:D Your posts are so funny!
Go walk the streets of a major city in Punjab and you will now what people think of PML-Q as you call it... PML-Q is not a real political party. It is a creation of the ISI a few years back. By the next election it will cease to exist. The votes it got were because of coersion from the caretaker and district govts
Re: Is Punjab next?
Reza is lying as usual, 3/4th of his posts are lies or misrepresentations. I challenged him to put up the provincial assembly statistics. PML[N] got the highest votes in Punjab in the P.A.
Re: Is Punjab next?
Why is Nawaz Sharif not followinghis principles and quitting Punjab govt aswell? Is that because that it is only in Punjab that Nawaz Sharif has any support and not in the other provinces?
PML N won 0 National and Provincial Assembly seats in Sindh.
PML N won 0 National and Provincial Assembly seats in Balochistan.
It won just a few seats from NWFP.
So yes almost it's entire votebank is limited to Punjab - only some parts of that as well.

HAAHAHAHAH you are so damn funny with all your talk of PML-Q this and that. It is a completely artificial party. It only exists in the minds of Mushy supporters like you. I remember going to see there rally in Islamabad, it was hilarious. All the people were villagers who were bussed in on Government money and told they were goint to get a free meal. AHAHAHAHAHAH
In Balochistan they won seats because the Nationalist parties were all boycotting and they rigged the vote. In some areas they claimed 50% (1000's of people) turnout and if you read independant reports there were barely a handfull of people who came to vote all day.
Re: Is Punjab next?
^ I bet in a day or two aalsi/reza will stop praising the Q league, wait they already stopped praising them as they refused to agree on what Musharraf wanted them to do as far as their leadership is concerned. ![]()
Re: Is Punjab next?
musharaf rocks. :)
Re: Is Punjab next?
^ Right now he is rocking on the fingers of Zardari and Co. If he remians in power , he needs to be strong in his own capacity.
