Hammad Bhai aap har din 4 5 MQM kay thread kuo khool dete hain? :) I hate MQM too but there are better things in life for me to worry about than wasting my time on bhatta party

See decent...here is the thing... some of us who are from Urdu speaking background...feel really betrayed by AH...since he and his party have capitalized on us and made us an involuntary part of a linguistic/race driven movement.

Geo is pro MQM. Those who know Jang group's history, their support for every dictator/ruler including ZAB are well aware that its a baniya group. Pure bujinish minded. After they were boycotted in early 90s by MQMafia they bowed down. Remember the first day of Awam evening daily. A full 8 page colored special on bhai log alone (since the operation was undergone at that time), so they capitalize on oppertunity and are in beds with AH for their own secuirty and smooth ride in Karachi.
This is almost the case with every channel. They critisize MQMafia but very lightly.

every single program, talk show, news and even comedy is a satire on Govt quite openly....
Look impartially and GEO is quite anti govt...

Antumul, are you born in 2000s? Geo picked up their liberal flag as recently as 5 years ago. Geo has been a pro govt [establishment]. if you pick up newspapers from 60s till late 90s, it always says what establishment wanted. Be it for govt or against the outgoing one.
If you notice Pakistan typical establishment has been dissolved in last 5 years (as per its main character Mushahid Hussain Syed), therefore you see waywardness of left, right and central parties alongside military. The preferences and alliances are not as aligned as they were before. So Jang group did have a free hand to chose going against Mush and build a reputation for themselves in new era.
But surviving an enterprise based in Karachi is different then having asheerbaad of govt or establishment. Those of us who have lived in Karachi in late 80s and 90s know what MQM is all about and how they have used their goons to dominate an otherwise educated city. The businessmen are hostages of this mafia.

MQM has done so much development work for Karachi therefore media respects that.

Problem is not limited to Pak media. I noticed even Indian, british or American media stays away from exposing mqm. They are clearly afraid of them, how else you can explain this pattern.
