i am currently donig BSC(hons) in Computing from APIIT (asia pacific Institute of Information technology ) Lahore . APIIT is a Malysian Franchise. after completing we will get Degree from Stafforshire University England.Now i want to go abroad and study … theek hai…

IT and business education has some very excellent world class outlets in Pakistan. They charge exorbitant fees, but then again, youd be paying that if you go abroad anyway. So why not study at home, and make the best of it.
10-15 years ago, it wasnt true, but over the past few years, things have changed.
Well, there are three reasons to educate urself, namely
1) To get a good job.
2) To learn.
3) Amibition to know the subject.
What is ur reason?
If u want to find a good job then ... u need just a label .. then I would suggest .. pay the price of designer label & get education in some Western University.
If u want to learn .. then u can learn in any University regarless of what & where. Western Universities might have a little bit better technology but they teach commecially unlike Pakistani institutions.
If u have ambition to educate urself to the roots of the subject u like then, u need more than learning ... & u dont need Academic Education for that but that is something called self study & knowledge gained by practice.

Relax man… I never said FAST was bad… However, its still lacks many things… Firstly, look at GIKi and NUST… They are offerring a wide range of disciplines. Look at Time/CNNs rankings (link is given below)for Asia… You will see that NUST is at no. 20 and GIKI at no. 23… I agree that programmers from FAST are pretty good, but trust me, programming in not the only thing a good computer scientist should have… However I am sure they will improve alot in the time to come and get better are much more experienced teachers… http://www.pathfinder.com/asiaweek/features/universities2000/scitech/sci.overall.html
youre right sherjeel... if youre a good student, then the instituition doesnt matter, and ive seen the hard working students at fast, nust, giki etc, Inshallah Allah will reward them with very good futures...
Giki has lost out on ratings to NUST in the last two or three years... They used to be Asias no.2 at one time, but now they are at 23 and nust is at 20th...
I've seen GIKIans dying to transfer credits to FAST in the past few months. But unfortunately FAST doesn't allow transfer of credits (except once when a student of MIT came here and studied one semester).
GIKI has everything but faculty. They've got the best labs, best resources, everything except good faculty. As last resort they started hiring fired faculty of FAST.
GIKI has always suffered faculty crises. Thats the major reason GIKI has lost its ranking.

CAN ANY NE TELL ME HOW TO APPLY FOR STUDENTS LOAN ,LIKE IF THEY GIVE ME LOAN FOR 1 YEAR AND I GE T INTO A UNIVERSITY IN CANADA OR AMERICA ! AND AFTER ONE YEAR I EARN MY SELF AND PAY FOR THE UNIVERSITY AFTER COMPLETING MY GRADUATION , I PAY THE LOAN.. BACK

You didnt tell us if you are a Pakistani or US citizen... If you answer some questions, I will help you out...
Do you have anyone in the US (a US resident) that can be your co-signiee, in other words provide a gaurantee?
Will you be willing to pay back the tuition fee with interest in installments?

Well, GIKi offers mechanical engineering, computer engineering, electronics engineering, metallurgy, engineering sciences etc, how can these students transfer to FAST which offers just one discipline... One thing is for sure, the atmosphere in FAST is not like a university, but in GIKi it is...
