So instead you listen to someone who calls music evil?

*“That the decline of the Muslims is their involvement in useless entertainment.” *Then pray tell why has the non-Muslim world gone in the opposite direction? They listen to music much more regularly and it is their ploy after all.
“A main reason to prohibit music is because it leads to fornication”? C’mon, just keep it in your pants. If you obey God on important things for which there is no interpretation, you don’t need to ban music or cover woman head-to-toe.
Or sing about God. Or sing to your wife. Or allow classical music only.
*“Music is bad for the body” *Ridiculous. Studies have show music to be beneficial.
"Temporary means of pleasure and satisfaction. What? God doesn’t want us to experience pleasure and satisfaction. What a mean God that would be. I wonder why he makes sex so pleasruable and satisying. 
*It is used as a means of drilling western ideologies into the hearts and minds, which are totally contrary to Islamic values and teachings. *I assure you, no westerner is thinking of Islam when writing and performing music. Don’t give yourself so much credit. Come up with some Islamic music if this is the case. Some of the most beautiful and inspiring music in the world is religious.
How sad these people must be who issue such opinions. I wish they could experience joy.
