The Quran also doesn't explain the exact and complete details of namaz. From where did you learn them ?
Not the Hadith.
The traditions passed down are traceable right to the Prophet (pbuh) and his followers...no scholar at a later date needed to scour the hadith and piece together how to Pray.
The Hadith are very useful in special prayers, which differ from the daily prayers...e.g. Eid prayers. But then, it's unreasonable to think that if the Hadith were not collected we would not have this information anyway...
The Hadith provide guidance on a lot of things, but we can't credit the technique of prayer to them...that's too much to swallow.
Some things we should take for granted as being a core part of the faith, and that would have been passed down regardless...
