Re: is MAID a better choice??

sara.....did you read the initial post...

it is talking about leaving the children with a nanny as well.

Re: is MAID a better choice??

the question of this thread is....is maid a better choice.

The thread starter is referring to a maid as a caregiver as well as a person who cleans.

now...is a "maid" a better choice for your child ? NO...and i think we ALL know that.

Re: is MAID a better choice??

yeah but I think most ppl here, giving their experiences as well, are talking abt maid for housework..not childcare.

Re: is MAID a better choice??

oh ok....housework? you bet I would!! It's dumb not 2 unless of course you cant afford it.

Re: is MAID a better choice??

Not everyone is able to leave/quit their jobs soon as they have children. And no not everyone is simply persuing their career and leaving behind children. Some people need both husband/wife to work to support the household, to put food on the table..pay the bills etc. Not everyone has the luxury to quit work and raise a child fulltime. And I think even if you can afford to stay home with kids full time, that mother needs a break sometimes. Im sure she needs a breath of fresh air in some activity/hobby/outing by herself. Having a baby-sitter for a few hours isn't bad.

And STP, not all maids/helpers are bad people. I know I still respect the lady who took care of me when I was little. My mom had to work so someone had to watch me, but she was a good person as well, and really took care of me m& my brother. To this day we still see her and respect her.
