Well now it does since everyone's so greedy for junk.
Very few people will marry a female doctor respecting her for what she does and understanding that she might not have as much time for him as the usual housewife.
Either they avoid it like the plaque, or they're after your money and security.
Hint hint: Red flag when he starts trying to figure out your income.
