Mirch, what that hadith has to do with anything that you just said .. The happening sounds like before he became Prophet.
and nevertless, that hadith is not creating any shariat law here ...
and even if its not true .. how did that make every hadith of bukhari, a fabricated one
Yes let me explain.
The hadees about dog over rides Quran so it is bogus and somehow got into Sahih Bukhari.
Why because this other hadees is going against Quran and teachings of Quran therefore it is fallible too meaning bogus and somehow got into Sahih Bukhari.
My point has always been that the ahadees which do not pass the test of :
Quran
Sunnat
go against other ahadees
Logic
are bogus even if they come from authentic sources of hadees.
Yes I believe in hadees only those which pass these test in addition to the test of chain of narration or test of repetition from various sources. ( tawatur as they call it in ilm a hadees)

Mirch bhai, have you studied the different Islamic sciences? Maybe you have and your not telling us? Maybe you have not but are relying on logic given by other scholars who differ in opinion? Which is it? before you make others believe in your own thinking? It's very dangerous that's all I am saying.

I did not go to any Madarsa for a formal education , but I love to indulge myself in learning whatever I can about this beloved religion of mine . Yes it is dangerous in the hands of those who take bits and pieces from one scholar or one school of thought or one book and do not use their own minds to analyze the depth of this beautiful religion.
I talk to various highly educated scholars , not just one to try to understand where they are coming from and learn from them.
As I have already said I am a born again Muslim. I was completely misguided and completely closed minded , but not anymore I see details of Quran , Hadees , Fiqh , Ijma , Sharia all branches of Islamic education with an open mind.
And trust me it is not so hard to learn as some would make you to believe.
