MAC ladies can do wonders with makeup. Both my shadi and valima was done by a desi girl who works at thier counter and she did an awesome job. I was extremely pleased. My sister even went back to her for her nikah makeup.
BUT i am not pleased with their color selection. I have 3 different shades of foudnation and none of them match me well. I have NC35, NC42 in liquid studio fix and C40 in powder studiofix. I love the product and coverage and the colors look ok in the store but when i come home, they look too dark or too light. I had to return NC42 in powder which was wierd since i loved the color when i used my sister's compact but when i bought my own, it was too orange. Needless to say, it went right back.

^ IRA -- take a picture with the foundations sometimes when we look at it in the mirror or something it looks off but the pictures come out great!

I have the opposite effect, it looks good to me in real but comes out crap in pictures

What I meant SGC was that sometimes it looks nice from a third point of view-- hence take the picture and look at it from a third eye!!

I used to do that. I used to put the foundation on and walk around the mall and check myself out in every mirror under the different lights. If I liked it I would buy it and then take pics of myself....

Marwah try their foundation sticks that are cream-to-powder finish and follow with either loose or pressed powder of the same shade. =)

How's the Napo-China Doll 'look 3' shade? I can't ever find the right one and I don't want to try it on in Sephora because I always break out.. I don't think they ever clean their brushes.
Look 3 is for Pink undertones no? do u ahve very "cool" skin? I'd probably get Look 4 (for myself), medium-to-tan with golden ndertones...

China doll foundation is for procelian perfect skin. If you have one, go for it.
Ive never tried sticks, I never will, they are too unhygienic as far as Im concerned.
Also if you have dry patches on the skin, the stick one will make them more obvious
I use their liquid makeup, Its called Minimal Makeup I think, something Minimal.
Just 3 dots are enough to cover the entire face.
I use Look 3 because It sits perfectly with my skin tone. Really depends on what undertones you have.
I couldnt decided between Look 3 and 4 when I first started using Napoleon like 5 years back and their consultant actually did half half on my face so the left was Look 3 and right was Look 4 to help me decide which one looked better.
