i think as sharaabee mentions, Pakistani kids aspire to be fast bowlers. in addition, the cultural differences in diet and temperament, as noted quite often by different experts, ensure that the advantage goes beyond interest and includes nurturing of already superior stock. i think it was in the WC that commentators were comparing Wahab Riaz’s build to someone like Ishant Sharma or Ashish Nehra. These are typical Pakistani and Indian fast bowlers, and couldnt be further apart.

is this a joke? pakistan’s entire lot of fast bowlers have been/are skinny as twigs: akram, sami, akhtar (pre-steroids), amir, asif, gul, etc. i can’t point to a single pakistani cricketer with an impressive physique. wahab riaz? lol.

obviously physique is not a key contributor. if it was, every indian cricketer could look like an amateur bodybuilder. if bollywood actors on pure vegetarian diets can be much better built than any pakistani cricketer and do it on short notice, others can too.

in any case, your comments on genetic superiority remain highly amusing given your particular ethnic background and pure indian stock. vicarious superiority complex is a novel concept.

So According to your logic “Indian culture and genes” which are different from Pakistani ones makes us ahead in strength related games like wrestling, kabaddi, boxing, body building etc.
Plus is that why we are good in strategy and brain related games too?

good point. in virtually every sport that actually requires strength and build, india is better. go figure.
