is it really a beautiful country, why so patriot

thats coz u ain't brit.

I'm sure any brit would have different feelings.

Re: is it really a beautiful country, why so patriot

It's your life, you should decide..

It's their life, they should decide :)

Why do you worry?

BECAUSE I CARE FOR MY RELATIVES THERE....duhhh

im safe here, so yeah why should i care.....its for them.

or a muslim in holland ...and God Forbid, later on, in the whole of EU.

Plz don't let this thread turn into stuff about how great the west is and how gay we pakistanis are.

And if u really care about ur relatives may be u should also care about and respect their feelings for their homeland.

Re: is it really a beautiful country, why so patriot

Yes But i dont care for feelings, if something happened to them, then what? oh but its better to jsut stay shush and respect feelings.....?

Re: is it really a beautiful country, why so patriot

YES!! They're adults, they know how to take care of themselves.

jee :khumar:

or talk to ur relatives in person, in a way that isn’t offensive to them. they can answer the question best.

....ask all those pakistani families who have lost loved ones in racially motivated attacks IN THE UK how safe UK really is.... it's all subjective. We only see the Pakistan portrayed by the media.... yes, Pakistan is in a bad state at the moment but people still live there and the majority of them are happy to continue living there.

Re: is it really a beautiful country, why so patriot

I agree with you to an extent. We definitely shouldn’t close our eyes to the destruction that is happening. Although, it is their home and hence they love it.

The thing is, Pakistanis are in the true sense of the word, FREE.. at the cost of civil order of course. Yeah it is in horrible shape, but it’s still our country and we can’t just abandon it. The best attitude would be to work toward positive change and eliminating ignorance.

:flower1:

Re: is it really a beautiful country, why so patriot

and technically.. we are no more safe here, we just have a false illusion of being secure.. they are right when they say everyone has to die..

Re: is it really a beautiful country, why so patriot

Gosh… where shall I start.

err ... no muslim is being killed in Holland, or being stopped from practicing their religion, or going to a mosque ... what are you talking about?
though chrisitians dont really have it too good in Pakistan!

as for the topic .. regardless of how bad it is in pakistan .. i still sometimes think about going back there ... i have feelings for it that i cant ignore.

Do you love your (real) mother/father?

If yes, what are you doing here on GS wasting time? Shoulnt you be khidmating her? What made you leave her and go to school/college? and if you are working, what makes you go to job leaving her alone? and if you are married, why are you not still living with her (after all you love her?)

so how u feel when some female dear to u is made to pass through the nude body scanner?phir Pakistan yad aata hai yaa nahi??
agar nahi aata to then i think Pakistan is lucky you are out of it.

No one stopping muslims to practice their religion in the west? No one killing muslims in the west? No one banning islam? what am I talking about? are u serious?

I ain't getting into that gurlphirend, (1) i don't want to ruin nad'z thread and (2) All views has a lot of lunatics around the place, I definitely ain't starting a political conversation.

Peace.

yeah ... no they arent ... unless you're talking about belgium where hijab is banned ... nobody is knocking on doors complaining about why you are praying ..

practising a religion goes beyond than just a hijab and minarets.

creeps like wilders havent completely psyched everybody out yet.

has GS totally scared you for not having a conversation? relax a bit .. have some tea ..

Re: is it really a beautiful country, why so patriot

it's nice to see lessons being learnt; if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

crocodile tears must have lost their effect :(

^ Indeed.

I don’t put up with BS. hence, I stay away.

I’ve enough to be doing, so I don’t need no allergic reactions at the moment :mehr:
