I don’t understand why Pakistani designers bother showcasing their clothes on runway or allow cameras in their shows. Really, their designs are openly getting copied yet the aam awaam has no idea who the hell these designers are but they like their clothes enough for copying, so what’s point? I have no hard feelings for people who copies designer stuff but I really do feel that the Pakistani designers are pretty dumb and lazy when it comes to protecting their own goods.

As a blogger I really hope designers don’t follow this advice! Going a little off-topic here designers get so much from the PR/Brand side of broadcasting fashion shows. I’m sure most designers are aware that their designs get copied, but by doing the fashion shows they’re getting their name out to a global audience and I’m pretty sure the recognition, new clients and new business opportunities they get from this far outweighs the fact that people copy them.
