What good is in attention that brings them no money or due recognition to their brand? Holding shows without the cameras would still get them the usual house full of interested customers, and after they can save the collection in print (something like Dior Haute Couture books) only to be found in their boutiques for their potential customers instead of having pictures misused on wishy washy blogs and fb pages. There are many ways for them to advertise their brand without necessarily releasing the images of the entire collection. For example, more than half of Tom Ford’s collection is already sold out by the time mainstream media even catches the glimpse of his clothes. He’s the perfect example for Pakistanis designers to follow if they are concerned about preserving exclusivity and aesthetics of their brand. These designers are luxury markets for goodness sake, who says every ordinary indivdual has the ‘right’ to wear Channel?
