u said ur nikaah was solemnized a couple of months ago [2 months] and then u also said that you have been abroad for three months…i wunder which is earlier? :hehe: and since u met her a couple of times after the nikaah that proves the nikaah wasn’t done on the fone…plz enlighten us :slight_smile:

@PSquared Thanks...and yes, that is one of the worries as I am almost at the end of my dissertation.... but things are going ok for now except for a few days when I don't feel like dong n e thing except think of her. I guess it will work out.

@Hashmat Usmani I had my nikah about 3.5 months ago and I met her twice in the next few days and then I had to leave immediately for abroad. Its been almost 3 months since I have come abroad.

To be honest, I never thought it would be this difficult. I thought that time will fly by, laikin khair am hoping that inshAllah it will will work out.

But yeah, u should just keep yourself busy and try to hang around with your friends. Before you know it, the 5 months would have gone.
I also hope you will feel the same way about her forever and ever, she is lucky to have a husband like you. Please remember to make her aware of how much you are missing her! I am sure she will be very happy to hear that:)

Distance make hearts grow fonder, suits quit well here :) Hope u love her as much after years of marriage. We all go trough phases in life. This fairytale phase go away when reality hits you. So enjoy these moment as long as u can.

Thanks guys for your support and sweet comments. Though I’m pretty moody, but I think I have an incredily strong romantic side as well and so I’m pretty sure that inshAllah she will always be my special doll.

After going through this phase, I think I can safely suggest to people getting married to try to minimize the temps d’attente between nikah and rukhsati. I guess this time is kinda bitter-sweet. Being in love + living away from ur love + autumn is a tough combination.
