Is it just me or is it them?

Re: Is it just me or is it them?

i think u have all put the wrong perspective on what the issue is here. As far as i understand it to be the topic the overall concept is concerned with how society would view a girl in a hijab in comparison to a girl who does not wear a hijab.

i can totally understand where she is coming from. I wear english clothes, i went to a school where the majority of students were english (in fact there was no other pakistani girl). And all my parents friend and family created a hoo-haa about how i would come under the influence of smoking, drinking and drugs, whilst they all sent their daughters to the asian schools. And in fact i now realise it is their daughter who drink, smoke and do alot more.

And, now at university...the ones' in hijab are the one who hang around with the desi lads. Basically, some of these girls (and i must stress not most of them) who wear hijab use it as a cover to hide their true self. Y are they partying whilst out at university, if they wouldn't at home? U should always be urself in every situations, and not let the situation decide ur actions. I don't go partying when i am at home and i would not go out partying whilst i am university. Those who are true frineds will accept u for u, not for wat u do!

People should not judge someone by their outer appearance, but by their personality.
