I went to the bank today, a lady in front of me was asian and needed to put some coins into the bank. She had some of the coins in the wrong bags and the bank accountant got like realllly pissed. I could tell she was pissed, murmuring under her breath, moving the bags sharply, making dirty faces like as if she’s fed up of it. The asian lady wasn’t one of the really desi types and spoke english fluently, just because she was wearing shalwar kameez. The lady spoke back saying how it’s rude to murmur and make faces at customers. The bank accountant was astonished.
Then when I came to her, she went “oh no, not again!” What is it with people thinking you can get away with saying stuff just because they think your really desi and don’t understand anything.
Another case, Is it just me or is it Marks & Spencers?? This has happened twice before too!
I went into the shop, and the security guard started following me around, He knows I go into the shop often and he’s always seen me. I was near the ladies area and he follows me, as soon as i look around he looks away. I went up to him and told him “I come in here often you don’t seriously think I’m going to steal from here do you because i’ve noticed you always follow me although you must know I go straight to the till?” and he got kinda embarrassed and walked away. After that another asian lady came through the doors and he started to follow her around.
Oh and in both cases the bank accountant and the security guard were black (not being racist or anything )
Oh my god how awful! I havnt experienced anything like it. Im suprised that the bank person and security guard were black-i was expecting to hear that they were white.
Somerfield has a black security guard too! and my sister was holding a chocolate i bought her from the other shop, she came in the shop eating it (what can i say, shes little!) he started following her around! come on! a 6 yr old with an older person isn’t gna steal…i told him that she got it from the other shop and showed him the receipt of the chocolate, and he still watched us the whole time i was shopping, i’m sure they have other people to look out for than a little kid :halo:
** Aww well that happens to me everytime I go to the Post Office which happens to sell the cheapest chocolates ever :halo: ** Then finally one day this woman saw that me and my friends were getting stared at and she went and complained…it was soo funny We got told that they have to keep an eye on kids,…but then the woman who complained said that I come in here quite often and its only the Asian girls with headscarves on that get stared at :halo:
And now…there’s a notice on the door which says that unaccompanied schoolchildren can’t come in :o
not in stores or post office etc. But at airports :D We were at Houston airport standing on the top floor looking down since we were quite early for our flight and there was a guy standing a bit far away watching us while we were there..

short of a strip search everything is checked....and then they have those ionizer thingies you have to stand in while it checks for traces of explosive compounds on you (actually it is sterilizing you so that muslim population will stop growing in the US)
