There was a shop assistant at the local supermarket who was always on our case, she use to follow Asian people everywhere in the shop, lots of people noticed it.. She was a racist cow and she use to mutter under her breath at us or to somebody else about us, would give us proper evils..

The local sweet shop owner we visited as kids would keep an eye on us too and he asked us to turn our pockets out once when we took too long in the back section but he wasn't racist because he did the same to some white kids too, we could hardly blame him because some of the kids did steal from him (mostly Bengalis), his wife was an absoloute love though, she use to give us free sweets.

u dont smirk and say rude stuff about such ppl. I always do..i mean if they are trying to get on my case they only deserve what they get back.

yes give them a piece of your mind......what you do is what you get exactly.....if people can't learn to respect other people's ethnicity then those disrespectful people should learn that they're not superior

hmm I dunno I get extremely impatient with rude people.......I remember last summer at some perfume store in Toronto this lady was being extremely rude to my mom and this got me really mad and I couldn't help but say ,"We're trying to buy something from your store so just be less rude and just help us" ....after this she calmed down with her attitude

well everytime ive had this problem i usualy just ask them whats there problem.....then usual they say well theres no problem with u having a beard or anything its just .....uve trimmed one side to much....lol

they always confuse me with mexicans, now with my new hair cut they are more confused, last long weekend i was travelling to minneapolis, the person who sat next to me has taken 8 beers and he started racist comments and talked to me in spanish and i didn’t answer and i told i don’t speak spanish then he said comeon don’t kid me you don’t speak your own langauge :hoonh:

Boo hooo. Whine whine. The reason south asians are given so much trouble in London is simple: because you DESERVE it. You think blacks are bad? Truth be told, in the UK - South Asians are hated. Not blacks, but Pakistani lads from Bradford.

If a south asian security guard follows blacks around in America, why cant a black guard follow around south asians in London?

And i have personally observed in Anar Kali Bazar of Lahore...many Western tourists come and shopkeepers like food spots...shoes shop like Stylo...and other shopkeepers give them special attention that they are guests in Pakistan and treat them in nice manner....

If i had there ..i would have punched into the bootha of that lady in Toronto perfumes store.....no matter what the consequences latter !!!!!!!!

I used to work at a cab office at Tooting, London (as a controller)! During my one and half years stay at there, I always saw black people turning up at the cab station to sell their theft stuff to our Pakistani and other asians driver. There was a cross lady - white and black - She was a real robber! Crooked.

Dawa - you are an excellent example of hypocrisy. There you are in religion forum with your holier than thou posts, and your post here shows nothing more than pure racism. If a tourist is treated with respect in Pakistan, then that's one good act. Why abhor a good action, and then use it as justification that your race is "subjugated" by western people. Until and unless we Pakistanis living abroad set a good example of our behavior, people will continue to form prejudices against us.

Getting a violent attitude only adds to it.
