personally i dont think its anyones business except the person's and family's to know how much they spent on a bridal dress. and i hate hearing how people think u shouldnt spend so much on a bridal dress. if people can afford to buy an expensive dress and they do actually buy it, its their personal preference that doesnt mean they dont give zakat or give less of it. yes it is their big day, and its a big day for the whole family, and if spending more money on a bridal dress makes them happy then so be it. dont go criticizing hard working people for the amount of money they spend on a big day the whole family is looking towards for many many years.
