Is it brain tumor

Re: Is it brain tumor

Again feeling sick - with more severe symptoms - apparently this appears to be MS.

Re: Is it brain tumor

erm.. stop self-diagnosis. some of us can diagnose ourselves with any ailment imaginable. see your doc if you are really worried. lets see what he says.

Re: Is it brain tumor

Wish you the best Mostar95. Do see a doctor. And get a few 2nd opinions.

Re: Is it brain tumor

Beginning of the end! More symptoms of MS appearing - drop foot, heavy feeling feet during walk and weakness in legs! Stiffness, muscle spasm, headaches, increased numbness, fatigue and what not!

what does your dr say?

Re: Is it brain tumor

all of these are very generic and vague symptoms. MS is usually diagnosed at a younger age, aren't you over 50, mostar ji?

Re: Is it brain tumor

Well now I remember I had symptoms 20 years ago - I had to abandon daily jog of 3-5 km after having severe headaches. And then I had severe muscle stiffness in 2005 which i treated with physiotherapy and yoga then.

And then at the end of 2012 I started having symptoms again.

Re: Is it brain tumor

The NHS is under heavy pressure and the queuing is very long.

They think its migraine and vestibular dysfunction.

Re: Is it brain tumor

ok if your symptoms are THAT old, it is not something life threatening for sure.. it would have happened a long time ago if something were terribly wrong.

im also sure the NHS would have acted faster and rushed the appts if they saw something very wrong, like a tumour.

:) hang in there.

Re: Is it brain tumor

To me it sounds like problem with your Thyroid gland. But there can be very similar symptoms of two very different medical conditions.

Re: Is it brain tumor

Doctor fount that I am on low levels of vitamin D and calcium?

Re: Is it brain tumor

Didn't read the whole thread but up to about head injury

Just a wild guess , could be damaged blood capillary in the brain

Had head injury myself many years ago and doctor had said brain tumour

It was another doctor who spotted it out not and had given pills for it to heal

Hard to diagnose maybe

Better see another doctor or get another detailed MRI/CT done

Re: Is it brain tumor

If I may, yes alot of these would be explained by vitamin D deficiency, but foot drop or weakness in legs are what we call Neurological deficit and may have underlying pathology, Yet it will be spinal pathology rather than brain eg brain tumour and MS doesn't present in this form.

A detail Neurological exam +/- brain/ spinal imaging like MRI will be helpful.

Re: Is it brain tumor

I had another brain scan which came normal except with a note "mild cortical age related atrophy seen".

Symptoms continue to hurt such as walking problem, headaches and numbness in the left leg of the body.

Re: Is it brain tumor

Mostar95- I remember reading your previous posts on same issue. I hope and pray for an accurate diagnosis and good health for you :flower1:

Re: Is it brain tumor

I suffer from migranes and recently left side of my face and arm went totally numb and infact i had symptoms like stroke. and my doctor said its normal with migrane.

have you tried to see a different doctor to get different opinion or ideas. it helps alot to see a different doctor and than compare with ur initial doctor.

Re: Is it brain tumor

reviewing your posts...im pretty sure its brain tumor

Re: Is it brain tumor

These are attacking when I walk like for 10-15 minutes. My left side of the head become numb and when I rest, I feel better. But then a headache wakes me up early morning like 4ish which goes away when I drink water or just sit down.

If my walk involves frequent turns it goes further worse and my head feels like someone is pulling my nerves.

One more thing if I drink citrus that gives me spinning of the head - quite strange and I am no longer eating or drinking citrus.

Re: Is it brain tumor

You've achieved something in 10 minutes which those damnable brain scanners couldn't in past 3 years.
