Most of Israel's atrocities are shielded by US veto power. Until US loses its influence as the sole superpower, expect nothing to improve.

Oh I agree with that. But legally as defined by the ICC, Israel is committing war crimes. I would like to see those who defend Israel and its war crimes to respond to the truth.

Yes, but see the thing is as long Israel has the US support, ICC can't really proceed with much. The nazis were chased and brought to judgement even from South America because US supported that hunt and search. Until and unless US is tamed and its influenced reduced to a regional power, Israel and its leaders (those who supported any amount of terrorism) won't be brought to justice.
That's just the sad and bitter truth. But to the point of the topic, yes i do agree Israel is guilty of multiple accounts of more than War Crimes.
CM! Thanks for sharing. Yes it is an eye opener to read the articles. Under the definitions of articles 6-9, both Israeli extremists and Palestinian extremists have committed crimes. Pakistanis can only play a positive role in this conflict if they look at both parties and not just one.
Teggy is partly right that US veto has helped Israel whenever UN has tried to go after Israel. The problem is that Palestinians were being supported by communists until the day Soviet Union collapsed and disappeared. FYI! communist Russia did provide money, arms, and political support to the Palestinians.
Thus during the cold war it was less about fundamental principles (as listed in the articles) and more about the fact that you belonged to US camp, or Soviet camp.
International community has definitely failed miserably to bring about an end to the suffering of Palestinians AND Israelis.
Obviously Palestinians have suffered more, but they should not be given a clean bill just because they suffered more. I mean if you go to war unprepared, and get your @rse whooped, then it is your fault.
Palestinians in particular and Arabs in generals have always underestimated the power and resolve of Israelis.
Responsibility of preparing and facing your enemy lies squarely on the shoulders of Palestinian leadership. They failed to use politics and diplomacy and instead tried to rely on brute force since the beginning of this conflict all the way to this very moment.
For Pakistanis and specially overseas Pakistanis, it is absolutely important to keep a balanced approach in this conflict. Otherwise we will be supporting someone purely on emotions. And remember people using only their raw emotions will always lose in this day and age.
Modern world politics and even war of today are all very similar to the game of chess, and only cool dudes with iron will can win this game. Our recent history clearly shows that uncouth tribals from Asia, to Africa to Middle East cannot win the game of chess.
p.s Jinnah was one cool dude who knew how to play the game of chess. Unfortunately there are few Pakistanis who could do the same after he passed away.
