The hymen can break quite easily whilst doing 'normal' physical workouts and sports including just PE at school, it doesn't have to be excessive.. it can also obviously break from other intimate acts short of intercourse or simply using tampons (not exactly rare now).. there are other possibilities as well but those are the most common...

Only people living under a rock could believe a girl not bleeding means she's not a virgin nowadays..

It'd still be problematic considering the size of the average dildo (which tells us a lot about women's preferred size)
